Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Repu ("we", "us", "our") is a reputation management platform for tradespeople. We help businesses collect Google reviews from their customers. Our website is getrepu.com.

2. What data we collect

Business accounts (you):

• Name and email address (via Google OAuth)
• Business name and Google Maps URL
• Billing information (processed by Stripe — we never store card details)
• Usage data: jobs created, review requests sent, ratings received

Your customers (review recipients):

• Name, email address, and phone number (entered by you)
• Star rating they submit (1–5)
• Whether they clicked the review link and when

3. How we use your data

• To provide the Repu service (sending review requests, tracking responses)
• To process payments via Stripe
• To send you weekly performance reports
• To send appointment reminders and follow-up emails on your behalf
• To improve the product

We do not sell your data or your customers' data to third parties.

4. Third-party processors

We use the following services to operate Repu:

• Supabase — database and authentication (EU data residency available)
• Stripe — payment processing
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Google Places API — business search and Maps integration
• Vapi — AI phone receptionist (Pro plan only)
• Vercel — hosting and infrastructure

5. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Review request records are kept for 2 years for reporting purposes. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time (see Section 7).

6. Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EU or UK, you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of all data we hold about you
• Portability — export your data in a machine-readable format
• Erasure — request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Correction — update inaccurate information
• Objection — object to certain types of processing

7. Deleting your account

You can delete your account from the Settings page in your dashboard. This will permanently remove your profile, customers, jobs, and review request history, and cancel your active subscription.

8. Cookies

We use only strictly necessary cookies to keep you logged in (session cookies set by Supabase Auth). These cookies are required for the service to function and are exempt from consent requirements under the ePrivacy Directive. We do not use tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies.
